We reckon you should set your room up so that the PC speakers or stereo speakers are fairly close to you and because your phone has a small microphone designed to work close to your mouth the scenario's have to be played quite loud.

Check the script..> 

Each script will come with usefull hints and tips to help you get the most out of each scenario. If possible print off the script and perhaps edit it so that it will sound more like something that you would say for eg. if when you answer the phone you say "hi" then it won't sound natural if you say "hello" on your message. But remember the sound fx have specially placed to fit around the scripts so make sure you keep within the timings.
